We are looking for a Head of Business Control who will be in the driver seat of the Business Control function for the Region and co-pilot the B2B local business strategy and provide sound accounting and reporting for the Region to HQ. As Head of Business Control you will act as the cornerstone for questions regarding the operational performance, rolling forecasts, legal and tax questions. You will report to the CFO for the Region and have staff responsibility for four business controllers.
Key responsibilities as Head of Business Control:
- Lead the Business Controlling activities for AGA in Northern Europe
- Perform specific analysis and provide adequate support and recommendations to Management for decision making
- Identify, evaluate and follow-up on projects and initiatives
- Prepare and establish planning process with local Management
- Analyse all positions of the Balance sheet and Income statement (variance report)
- Ensuring realistic rolling forecasts and gap analysis as an early warning system
Skills, knowledge and expertise
The successful candidate has a university degree in Business Administration or equivalent and a minimum of 7 years prior co-pilot experience as business controller. Or you have a background from the consulting industry and/or auditing. Experience from international reporting and controlling is nice to have but more important is to have a solid understanding of business drivers and to be able to apply “big picture” approach. Experience from SAP BW and SAP R/3 is a must as well as advanced skills in Excel and Power Point. Applicants need to be able to speak Swedish and English fluently, both written and spoken.
You have excellent analytical problem solving and financial modelling skills and communicate easily your viewpoint with others and find pleasure in leading business partners in the understanding of financial techniques and concepts. You have strong work ethics and work proactively to plan your actions in advance with close attention to details.
